I've bought these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CAR-REVERSING-...item2c4dd3deca for my last cars as well as my current one, probably the same as the kit linked to above though, but great kits and easy to install

If you're not sure about fitting them Ed and can get up to Stevenage I'll happily do them for you.

Ed! don't know what kit your going for but i have the gadget man kit! its not bad in general, everything is in the kit & fairly easy to do, i would shop around though, it does tend to be a little temperamental in some conditions IE hot weather & wet weather, make sure you lay out the cables FIRST and compare the length of each!, the leaflet refers to a left hand drive so you can easily put the sensors in wrong leaving you with the last one being to short! its a good idea to put them in & make sure they reach the box OK before tidying away all the leads! D'oh!. (brought mine from this eBay seller above)

Cheers " Wizard" for the input. I am doing a lot of research first. I have looked on Ebay "etc" and the prices range from £14 to £50 for just the rear.
How do the front "work" is it by a switch on the dash, as the rear work when you select reverse. I ask this as now Larisa would like them on the fron too.

Yeah, fronts would be good but would prefer to know the best way to wire them first. Don't like the idea of having a non-OEM switch on the dash.

Would it be OK to wire them to ignition live? They would only go off when something is close?
