evening all!
I have been looking about trying to find single led's already encased (the flat smd type) to add interior door hand lights, but i cant seem to find anything suitable, does anyone know if there is a product out there?

hmmm not sure i had a mondeo with them as std and i thought they were great
i do think they look the buisness, but when i do have passengers in car, they can never find door handles!
just come across these

might chage my foot well lights to these too, and it states that they can be cut down so perfect for handles!
what you think?

yeah that would do the trick but where do you plan on hiding them?
either on the actual back of the door handle (thats y they need to be covered)
orrrrrrr as you look at the handle, on the right hand side, 90 degrees so the back of the handle (hard to explain without a pic lol)
keep us posted mate. interested in seeing this mod
I have the same Led Strips in my footwells, front and rear. They say white but they do have a blueish edge to them.
any pics rushy
Did this with the Astra mk4, using the interior light live...worked very well but mainly as the handles over hang, or the insides are hidden if get me... not sure i like this way on the vec tho - although i have given it a thought or two in the past...
I again used your links type but trimmed 15cm ones. you can trim any of these by taking off 3 SMD's at a time, I generally use the flat flexible smd type for everything, slighlty duller then LED's but i think that adds style rather then the christmas tree look... I used blue on the Astra, but IMO white would be the choice now as they generally have a blue tint as Rushy says
cheers for the pics, lee
the leds are going to be on th einterior handles though, but i have ordered 10 strips so may do outside too
