    Default T-cut dark blue ?

    im looking at this but want some advice...

    should i buy it to begin the colour restore on my vectra then use a wax of some kind ???

    or is there a better, affordable, product i should look for

    iv not got a polishing machine so all to be hand done.. but it needs it. the wife just slid a big paper bag accross the roof and scratched it to frig

    Waste of money imho get some poorboys black hole and then some dodo bluevelvet wax

    Hi Steve.

    Don't waste your money on this stuff. The best finish is always achieved by claying, machine polishing then waxing but you don't have these available.

    What i would go for is some Auto Glym Super Resin Polish followed by a wax. SRP has mild fillers in it so will mask any fine scratches you have while at the same time leaving a really good finish.

    Steven are you still using the old kind of yellow sponge to wash your car?

    OK.. thanks guys

    Ill check out the prices as they seem to be the main deciders for me at the minute. Very glad iv not wasted my money on this stuff.. thanks

    O.. dont ask that... wife took it throu an auto car wash last week

    them yellow sponges.. iv still got.. seem to scratch quiet a bit ??

    lol Poorboys is about £13 and then get a small panel pot of blue velvet at around £5 panel pot will do your car around 3 or 4 times

    Lambswool washmitts can be quite expensive so pop down to B&Q and get yourself some grout sponges.

    They are having good reviews over on Detailing World and I've been using them for well over 6 months now on my black Vectra as opposed to washmitts I used to use and they are great. The difference to normal carwash sponges is that the pores are larger so do not trap dirt like carwash sponges that cause swirl marks.

    Of course, you will only get could results by using the correct washing method and that is the 2 Bucket Method.
