    Default Bt home hub 2.0 Help

    Hi Folks needing a wee bit of help as for some reason cant get this sorted???
    Ive Had the Bt hub 2.0 plus 3 handsets for nearly 10 months now and whoever phones last and when i do 1471 its from a call about 5 months ago?? i even tested it and left a message one day and when i tried 1571 on one of the phones there was no message???? ive went to hub manager and even managed to remember my bt talk number and password but still can figure out how to fix or enable this in the settings
    any help would be great guys

    We have a Home hub 2 and the broadband cordless phones, I dont think the BT answerphone service works with the BT talk number, What we do is press loudspeaker (optional) and then press and hold the number 5 until you hear a tone change, then you should be able to listen to your answerphone messages....

    You probably have the broadband talk option, this effectively gives you a landline and a VOIP line.
    When you call from the BT handsets your calling via the internet.

    The received call from 5 months ago is a call to the internet phone, if you want to access the normal land line you pick up the handset hit the green phone button then press 5, the dial tone changes to a slower tone (this is the normal land line dial tone) then key in 1471 to get info for the land line
