Flashing HIDS

I have aftermarket Bosch HIDS fitted.
Just recently the nearside one has started flashing and flickering, does anyone know if its going to be the ballistor or the bulb thats causing the problem? Have removed and checked all wiring and its all clean and tidy with no corrosion so suspect either of the above.
Any ideas what to buy first, bulb or ballistor???

This is not on the vectra its on our other car, looking at getting HIDS for the vectra and will be using HIDS Direct for that but need to get this other prob sorted first.

Not heard of this and no expert on HIDs. It might be an idea to get in touch with HIDs Direct and ask them.

Its not on the vectra its on the Evo and its had them on for about 4 years with no probs until the last couple of weeks , removed it from the car sunday and checked all contacts were clean, put back again and it was still the same, only n/s one o/s one is fine.

Try swapping the bulbs over and if it still flickers you know it's the ballast. If the bulb flickers in the other you know it's the bulb.

Will i have to do this when i fit HIDS to the vectra??? its a 06 exclusiv with sat nav, also how do i get the avg mpg/ fuel remaining reading to work as its not on my display ??

Ok thanks, was hoping to get a answer lol as its a bast**d to get to, not as easy to work in the light area as it is on the vectra but will give it a try over the weekend, can then order a ballistor or bulb from hids direct to replace

I had this problem with the o/s headlight on my car so I fitted a canceler,which fits in line with the ballast and it stopped it.
(Apparently,HID Direct supply them included in their kits),so if you are going to order a set from them,why not negotiate a price to include an extra set.You can also get them off eBay.I ordered my cancelers on the Sunday afternoon got them on the Tuesday!!.Best of luck. FELIXX.
