    Default suspension

well folks got the vectra back today earlier than expected. It was getting a broken spring replaced under warranty, made a big difference to ride quality and handling but I still find the front suspension noisy over bumps etc. even though it was checked and is fine.Anyone else have the same problem?

thats shocking what was their response when you told them you had checked them and knew they were fine? the noisy suspension is pretty annoying suppose i'll just have to live with it,but on the plus side I checked for the blue plug for t/c swith and it's there so i'll get one off ebay.

Don't go to Kwik Fit, they will tell you about work you need done even if you don't need it done. Most common causes for noisy suspension is drop links and arb bushes, well worth checking

part number would be great, the suspension was checked today by the garage i bought it from and they said it was fine. It's mot time next month so even if they were lying about checking it today I'll find out when it gets mot'd.

There are a few different sizes of arb bushes. Best bet is to go to your local dealer and they should be able so sort you out.

Even although the arb bushes look ok, even the smallest amount of wear will allow them to knock

I know what you said and I wouldn't be going to Kwik Fit for them to diagnose faults that are not there

Chances are you'd take the car to them, they'd say it's knackered shocks, you replace the shocks and the problems still there. What you gonna do, take it back to them?
