just bought 2 fulrun tyres

people have said to stay clear of em but i cant afford anything better and as the sidewalls had chunks missing outta my old tyres i thought these ones woud be better than the dangers i had on, please someone tell me there not that bad please

Lol well on a good note - There are thousands of people all over the country using them.
Are they comming off the road every time they turn a corner ? NO
Are they going into the back of other drivers every time they brake ? NO
You just need to be a little carefull, being aware of your tyres limits should be enough to keep you safe.

I have got "wanli's" on the front of mine (£65 each) from national tyres in Mill Lane (Liscard)

I think they are adequate if you're a sensible driver. 99% of the time I have my little girl in the car so I don't drive like a fool anyway.

Yes, conti's/goodyears etc will have more grip and last that bit longer, but at times like these, a new steel radial is quite sufficient.

Remember years ago?? Re-moulds?? Now I would not have them now, but they did the job!!

Be very careful with Wanli's nothing to do with grip levels, they have a habit of splitting around the inside edges (when I say split I dont me small, I mean right round the edge of the tyre) so they are worth checking from time to time.

But cheap lower grip tyres are better than dangerous tyres with chunks out of them.

Thanks for the advise, I will be checking. Tell you the truth, I only got them because I spotted something hanging off my Dunlop Sports, on closer inspection, I found the entire inner wall was worn right through to the wire (tracking out) so it was more of a cheap, quick fix than anything.

David we all need to do what we need to do, Fullruns may have a lower limit than say a Dunlop or Continental but hey bro! they are legal and hold the corners off the road so keep them safe keep you safe and go steady

In the dry they are fine.

In the wet they do tend to be alot less grippy.

Just take it easy and get a feel for how well/or not they grip so you know where the limit is.

This appears to be one of the first tyre threads i've found that have some really intelligent answers instead of folk instantly slating the OP's choice

I have Runway enduro's on mine and they are never gonna be a michelin but they are better than the aformentioned re-moulds

I had these on my 17" wheels 215 50 17 and i thought they wa brill! They last absolutly ages!!! And side walls never cracked or anything. Grip wise i thought they wa fine, but then agen i dont sling in round wet bends at 70mph on moor roads! Lol. So grips neva been an issue.... Snow wise veccys seem rubbish full stop, dont think it would matter if you had £250 tyres on each corner! Hope u feel abit more re assured!
