There is a posibility ill soon be back in a Vec

Currently looking at a 2.8 Elite Auto. Ive done a bit of searching, but does having an auto effect the ability to remap these? What Torque are the autos good for?

Sorry if these questions are covered else where.

    Cheers as always

No probs mate. The figures from Superchips for a 230 BHP model are + 59bhp and take it to over 400nm of torque I think. Plus it can be used as code reader and you can take the map on and off when ever you like. Alos you have the bonus of being able to sell the box on at a later date if you wish.

Only downside I know of is I was told it's not advisable to map or box auto's having a dpf as I was considering it when warranty expires
D'oh, just realises, 2.8T would be petrol, DPF= Diesel...........
