not with the dealer, with the car.

My car before the vectra was a 1.4 16v Extreme Megane. Its a car i would never buy again, the engine is made of a softer alloy than most, i blew a spark plug out of the engine accelerating onto a slip road, had plenty of other problems too. Also, renault parts are harder to get a hold of than vauxhall

My personal opinion, but thats how it is for me

    Thanks
    Tony

I went on Mon to Autoquake Leeds with my friends to have a look at Audi A6.

    One word - dissapointed!

Car was not cleaned properly - they left festering rubbish in rear armrest
From the outside the car looked fine until we took it out for a spin... Painted all over. Over-sprays here and there... And I'm pretty sure that the painter was blind as the amount of orange peel and over-sprays was unbelievable!

Maybe it was a one off but I won't go there any more. The salesman was very apologetic but the bad taste stays with you for longer...

I am sure there are good and bad in both Autoquake and the cars they sell, I mean after all the Vectra seems to have a whole heap of issues when you read a forum on face value but in reality this is all because we forget to praise the car for the millions of miles it does reliably as a collective, I am sure Renault is similar good and bad in a real mixed bag.
I tend to be sceptical of Carcraft/Autoquake/ stack-em-high-sell-em-fast dealerships.

Have to be objective chum and just go with your eyes wide and cheque book tight

A French car from a car warehouse = recipe for disaster!

I went to Autoquake in Leeds in the summertime to look at a Vectra estate, and was more or less turned away as I hadn't made an appointment.
That was by a guy at the gatehouse.

Seems a bit suspect when you can't simply have a look at the cars on sale - they were in the building, I think, as you couldn't see them outside anywhere.
I think once you get in, they price you up - as my daughter puts it.
