    Default CD70 Unusual fault?

I recently changed the CD70 on my car as the old sat nav stopped working. As the "new" head unit wasn't divorced from the screen I had to have it unblocked. When I fitted it I had A BOING noise every 5 seconds and a display safe notice came up occasionly. I took it to have it Tech2d and although it accepted my security code the noise wouldn't stop, so we gave it up as a bad job. I drove home with the noise and parked up. An hour later I went out in the car and the noise had stopped. Great I thought but later on today I discovered that every other time I drive the car the noise returns. Stopping the engine and the starting it doesn't work, I have to drive a short distance to get the silent result. Has anyone any Idea what could be wrong?
    Thanks in advance

IT means 1 of 2 things..

1: bad job of resetting it
2: bad job of paring it

    Most likely the last..

Hi, If it's the pairing why would it work some times and not others?
It has a built in mobile but I do not now if it is bluetooth.
I have sold the old one on ebay.

You should divorce the radio and display before selling. Now you need to: use tech2, reset cid with carpass, reset cd70 with the code of cd70, the pair them together.

CD70 without code can be reset somewhere in a radio shop, that's a very very easy job, So it's your cid that needs to reset.
