Right, after months of problems, and replacing the inlet manifold, I am torn as to what to do with my DPF.
I am considering knocking the insides out of it and having the software removed by an ECU re-mapping company.
They have quoted me £130 to remove the DPF software OR £220 to remove the software AND re-map the ECU at the same time!!
Anyone got any advice for me regarding this difficult decision??
Also, will the car still pass an M.O.T test with the above work being done?
Or do I just have the software removed and leave the re-map??
Its a 56 plate design estate with 90k on the clock. 150 bhp
