Default Anyone Else sound like a learner ......

My 2.2i Direct sounds like i aint controlling the clutch when changing gears, i sound like a learner driver ,

Do the revs continue to slightly increase when you change gear and drop the clutch or am i just making a right pig of it, ??

    lol

Someone on another thread said they had a problem with their clutch return spring and I thought it may relate to what you're experiencing i.e. the clutch pedal not coming back out as quick as it should, therefore when you press the throttle to go, the spring is still returning and increases the revs (The same effect as "riding" the clutch).

Does the vectra have a self-adjusting clutch?

My old car did and odd times had to have a little grease put on the section where the adjuster was.

Just thinking and trying to suggest something someone's not thought about.

Stupid "Fly By Wire" throttle, is it not, I stalled my car more times in the first 6 weeks than I did my last car in over 8 years.
