    Default Car tax renewel time

Anyone else due at the end of the month like me ? got my reminder today. Have to say quite pleased really as my Saab TTID with BSR vvrroomm pushes out 214 BHP yet is taxed at ...(sorry if you own a 213 bhp GSI) ... £110 for 12 months or £60.50 for 6 months if your a cheapskate.

Mind you Daughter was looking at small city cars with £35 tax - drops to £30 at renewal for some reason.

the lower brackets below category E have all dropped in price as of 1st April 2010!
6 months doesnt really make you a cheap skate as then costs an extra 10% buying 2 6month discs against a 12month disc

Most of us with cheap tax. What about the VXR owners? They have to fork out £435 for 12 months.
