Urgent! How to refit seatbelt adjuster on b-pillar inside trim??

Hi guys, I'm in a bit of a pickle.

I have just done the rear interior light mod on my Estate.
I couldn't get the headling down without taking the B-Pillar trims off.

The trims do go back ok but the front seatbelt height adjusters are loose. They move up and down and the seat belt doesn't seem to lock.

Is this right? How do the trims go back??

Bit worried now as I need the car tomorow and its starting to get dark!

Help!!

its just to find the correct point and the press inwards.. takes 20 when you find the correct.. but you have to remove the seal between the door and body, to get them in correctly.

The seal on both sides?

Theres a sort of inner box that the seatbelt sits in. This is clipped to the trim and then theres the locator at the top.

Also on the back of the height adjuster theres a white plastic thing (no idea how to explain it. I assumed that this would need to connect or rest against the seatbelt adjuster itself?

If its all clipped in right, does that produce enough force hold hold the seatbelt adjuster locking thing in? (Again I don't know how to explain it)

It feels as if these are all in correct. I'l give it another go then.

yes that sounds right.. i remember the pain when i had my rooflining down. but it was someting like that "fitting in a fitting in a fitting" like you discribe.

Does the weatherseal just pull off and push back on?

I managed to get them back on properly. Its a pig of a job getting them on right. Took me nearly 2 hours. Doing it in the dark didn't help.

Taking the weatherseal off does help. But it was getting the mechanism in the right place that was tricky as it kept moving out of place when you pushed the trim back in place.

I took a few pictures, so I will do a How2 for it.

I'm never going to take them off again!!!!
