the water that always goes into the boot when you open the lid. I've had the car for about 2 years now and to this day it still annoys me

Don't wax you car. This is always less of a problem if the water is not beading due to wax.

if you use a vynil care / rubber care product that softens the seals it seems to be a bit less of an issue, I find its normaly the bit that pools along the bottom of the rear screen and boot that floods into mine now.

For some reason, mine has never done this. But I rarely wash mine (and always by the car wash when I do), so maybe it does have some bearing.

    Doubtful though.

Specifically where does it go into the boot from and to?

Uusally off of the side of the tailgate/glass and misses the gutter. Even when it hits the gutter, a majority of it splashed back into the boot.

PS - Sorry to hijack John m8, but if anyone can also find a cure for the boot auto locking after 30seconds or so - it drives me up the wall.

I know this might sound stupid but.........why don't you just wipe the water away before you open it?.FELIXX.

This is easy, just lift your wiper blade before you lift the lid, simples. Its the water from the flat part that hits the blade then runs off into the boot. Go on try it, you know you want too Instead of it hitting the blade it just runs down the glass and goes into the gutter.
