    Default Hids for Saab ttid

Is it possible to fit the Vectra hids from Hids direct, to a Saab 08 plate. They also have the same headlamp lense as the Vectas do.

They suffer bad light output as the Vectra does. Been on to hids direct website and they dont do one for Saab. So just asking if any one knows will they fit and work in a Saab.?

If it uses an H7 bulb then you should be OK as they too are canbus so the cancellors may or may not be needed but the principles are identical.

IMHO,if you have access to the headlight bulbs and enough room to fit the ballasts, you can fit any type of system,it doesn't have to be dedicated to a particular vehicle as long as you have a set of cancelers handy just in case of any OBC issues. I have just fitted a set of 35w x 6000k ones that I had on a mondeo and they are working perfectly well with a set of cancelers fitted. No OBC issues whatsoever and they were bought off eBay for £35,new,from China, and £7.50 for a set of cancelers. By the way, make sure that you get the bulb holders,(£10),as you can't use the ones that are already in the existing loome.FELIXX.

Thx for the replies. Just ordered a pair myself from hids direct. Should be here tommorrow.

I shall inform my brother about his Saab, as he struggles with light output.

    Thx, Graham
