Default Strut brace on 1.8 VVT

    Hey guys an gals,

Iv had a look thru previous threads an there are loads on strut braces, I couldnt however find one on a 1.8VVT Facelift. I wondered if this suffered from the rubbish clearance when fitting issue on the brake fluid res and actually being too close when bonnet is closed, and if anyone had a pic,

    fancy fitting the wiecher one.

    Cheers guys

Cheers rush, looked like It will clear just then, I have to modify it for a nut that is randomly placed on the drivers side, did you have this issue?

TBH I can't see a strut brace actually doing very much functionally, as the turrets are right back against the bulkhead cross member. Therefore torsional stiffness across them would be pretty good anyway.

Yeah I read that in some other posts on here, but tbh im doin it cause it looks smart lol, its only a 1.8 dont go fast enough to need better cornering haha!!

I know someone with a brace fitted and they say it makes a massive difference and its fitted to a Vec C too. Im thinking that I might just slip one in, if you know what I mean.

I'm thinking that i will make a good difference also, as even with mine being lowered i can still feel the front twisting and was hoping that a strut brace will help the car corner flat
