Default i35 .............. Good and Bad news

Well yetserday I thought I would get in touch with Irmscher about the i35. My signum I bought a few weeks ago was badged as an i35 , but I thought to myself I dont want badge the car as something its not, so i thought i would ask Irmscher themselves. I have done some research first so I didnt sound like a total numpty and they made the anniversary model in the 3.2 V6 and 3.0 V6 . Anyway after a few emails and pictures being sent back and forwards it is their understanding that my car is indeed an i35 but heres the bad news. Someone has previously sold the grill and replaced it with a genuine plain Irmscher grill , if I am to put it back to how it should be it needs the grill with the aluminium top saying 'i35' aswell and also it needs 18"s wheels , as someone has sold them and put 17"s on instead , so here's where my wallet starts to get thinner. I am waiting a response about the grill from Irmscher themselves and I think I will look for a set of 18"s.

So all in all I am a happy bunny , just dont think the wife will be if she see's the next credit card statement.........lol.

It is disappointing to find out that a previous owner has removed pricey parts from the car. Hopefully you'll get the parts.

Thought the I35 was only made with a supercharger.. and about 345ps...

But it should be faily easy to check if "I35" from the VIN nr. as it then should come up as a "special" car!

They also made the i35 without the compressor on the 3.0 V6 diesel.
