Default How to check miles to next service HELP

    Hi folks.

I have a 2.0 Turbo Sri with the cd70 nav.

Owned it two months and has full VX history.

It is on the Eco flex service schedule (was as I will alter it to 1yr or 10k).

Now it was recently serviced at 50.6k and is now on 53k. I have read manual that states pressing reset while ignition off will bring up miles to next service, except it doesn't on mine.

Any idea what I need to do to find out?

I have checked everything has been changed filters oil etc in last service so am happy that it's all been done; but I'm curious as to why I can't load miles till next service as manual states.

    Thx.

If the display won't show the mileage to next service, then it is not on ECO Flex servicing and is on standard servicing
Refer to Service Book for fixed intervals

Defo on flex service as vx serviced up until its last one.

Also states in my book p7. Signum n vec c petrol service plan N. 1 yr 20k miles - Flexible - ecoservice- flex.

P43 states Service plan N, O and Astra H 2yrs or 20k miles petrol oil change.

Wonder if last garage switched it at owners request.

Oh well I'm gonna run it 10k or one yr now anyway

It is impossible to tell if a car has been on ECO Flex servicing from the handbooks and service book
You need to actually have used or seen the display show this option

If you had seen and/or used it in the past, then it has either been switched off or broken

I would imagine the fact it has differing times n mileages between services carried out by VX since new that it was EcoFlex.

Never mind I will alter it to my specific requirements anyway.

    Thx

It would depend on what the previous owners were doing
One year they may not have used the car much, so would be one service in 55 weeks with little mileage
Another year they may have used the car a lot, so it would be in the next 10.5K or 20.5K miles

Equally, some owners ignore the service schedule and have the car serviced as per employer / lease company policy

So long as it has a service history (if it should have one) when buying it used!
