    Default ANGEL EYES halo lights

Read all the various posts regards angel eyes and changing 501 incandecent lamps for 501 LED's

Thinking of getting Angel Eye's and HID's so have couple of questions

So can i wire the halo LED's/relay in such a way through the Cigarette Lighter light that the Halo's act as DRL's ?????

Is possible to fit sidelight lamp in the area where the idicator fits thus having the advantage of reflector behind it.saving putting it in the fog light

Wiring to the cig lighter will work but when I did it I used an empty fuse socket in the engine bay thats live with ignition on. Or you could wire them to the cig socket illumination grey/yellow wire so they come on when you unlock the car. Dont forget to add an in-line fuse.
Personaly I wouldn't put a side light in with the indicator, as it would probably make the indicator less noticeable, just tuck it away.

    Understand your comments re wiring.

Re: side lights tucked away would'nt it fail MOT??
Would the Led's in the Halo's be bright enough in daylight??

Where I say sidelight I mean a standard T10 501. The halo's are fine as sidelights and will pass an mot as long as the light is white. I haven't done it yet but i'll be putting led t10's in my side lights wired to the grey/yellow and tucking original bulbs behind the headlight units. I think leemarksmith has wrapped them in foil which seems a good idea.
