Default Model availability - good and bad news depending on your point of view....

Spotted this on the Fleet news section on the Vaux website today.

Now I'm all for change and improvements, but the constant chop and change of models, features and options is really beginning to pee me off. There was a time when they held the spec for at least a year.

Having just ordered my new co car, wanted an SRI Ecoflex but it wasn't available - then 2 wks later, what do you know!

Bad news if your saving for a petrol turbo model.

Good news if you are after a SRI ecoflex and haven't already ordered your car - like me.

    Completely agree.

They are changing the Spec. so often it's difficult to keep up. I wasn't sure what mine would have or wouldn't have until I saw it in the dealers Prep. area.

The dealer was just as confused when it turned up with a visible exhaust which was supposedly deleted on the MY10.5. Then VX announced that they had decided to leave that for the MY11

I've given up trying to work out why it has the wrong colour seats too (Grey instead of black) and why the brand new SRi VXR line on show at the Vauxhall plant last week has the same seats as mine.
