possible key up grade?

hey all,
the search engine deems "key" and "mod" too short or common to throw up a result so i am asking a quick question, is it possible to make a flip key for the veccy c? if so any guide or thread here for it?

oh and a quick question also...anyone know if the dual exit mod for the 1.9cdti with the irmy y junction requires any welding or is it a an all clamp affair?

Yes it is possible, but its not cheap. The fob and blade can be picked up cheaper from ebay, but its still around £60 or more to get it coded at the dealers. Some people reporting up to £90 for a flip key from dealers.

im running opcom and have the code card of the car so could it be possible that i could recode the newer key myself?

Goto google and type in the following - "key" site:www.vectra-c.com

This will force google to search the word key on this site. Handy for when forum searches won't allow less than 4 characters.
