Talking Khalid & Bob - Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou :D

These guys (BobsSignum & Happypostie) worked their rear ends off today on our car. It's unbelievable what they've managed to achieve, even the big scratch on the rear panel is now almost invisible. All the paint scratches, swirls, marks etc etc pretty much gone. Just a bit of work for me to do on the bumpers still but even those have had the couple of marks in them touched up, I just need to polish them out and smooth them off a bit.

Guys, words just aren't enough, thankyou soooo much for giving up your time today and doing what you did. You guys seriously rock

I wasn't completley work shy myself today, the rear electric windows are fitted and working and the front chrome fog light surrounds are on and fitted. Tomorrow, new front brake discs and pads to fit and new brake pad sensor (it went through yesterday) then Saturday off up to MIJ for it's new exhaust.

Will post a few pics in the morning, am shattered and heading to bed now

Didn't take many pics at all during the day because I was actually doing stuff myself as well for some of it for once lol

    Here's a few I did take though...

    The work begins...

Bob gets stuck into the big scratch...

    Was Bob supervising here Khalid?

    Before:

    After:

It's still there if you know where to look, but nearly invisible from a distance now...

A before and after shot of the paintwork in progress.

One on the rear bumper that still needs some work:

Bob getting jiggy with the paint pot:

    Nearly there guys:

Too dark to carry on and fog surrounds needed fitting, so off came the bumper and indoors we went. Fog surrounds fitted and Bob finishing off the paint touch ups.

It really was this dark when we were sticking the bumper back on.

They also found time to give the engine bay a very quick going over (although it needs doing properly at some point).

New brake disks, pads and sensor to fit tonight, up to MIJ for it's new exhaust tomorrow and Snetterton show on Sunday, busy weekend ahead

A hell of a lot of work already gone into this in a week, but a lot more to do but she's looking a HELL of a lot better already.

    Thanks again guys.

Great work guys. Looking forward to seeing the car Sunday Ian. Perhaps I might be able to persuade Bob and Khalid to give my car a good going over one of these days. Lol

Nice work. You guys should think about opening a business!

If there was someone / somewhere local to me that done that, I'd have my car there in a flash, once it's fixed of course!
