    Default urgent help needed grrrr

    My crankshaft pulley snapped of today, so bought a new one, tried to remove the remains of the old one, by taking the 4 torx bolts out but couldnt remove the remaining bit of cs pulley, so rang vx and they said that some pulleys are bolted throught the middle too, so going of what they said i removed the centre bolt and walla, the pulley came free, and also the inner pulley that the cam belt goes around grrrrrrr

    my problem and i hope some body can please help me, is how do i align the cams up now? ive heard there are no marks on the casing around the cams. I dont have any cam tools, so what do i need to do guys,

    please help me as i need my car desperatly

    as i recall, the crank pulley has a keyway in it that lines up with the crank, so can only go on one way. So long as the engine hasnt been turned over, then the timing shouldnt have moved and you should be able to refit the pulley using the big centre bolt first, then check the timing marks, then refit the big pulley with the four small bolts and rebuild.
