    Default Help!!

    Hi guys,

Need a bit of help here. My newly acquired Veccy C is great (2003 2.2 DTi SRi), but annoyingly, the "Low Screen Wash" warning shows all the time, until it is empty, then when empty, the warning disappears!! Like something's been reversed. When I fill it, I get "Low Screen Wash" again!

Has anyone else came accross this? How would I fix it? Was thinking possibly the connector to the sensor has been turned at some point? Any suggestions?

    Thanks guys

Sounds to me like the sensor has been fitted in upsidedown.

ps, "Help" as a subject header is a bit vague to say the least. You need to give people a clue to what the question is that you're asking.

I know it's been messed about with, as the previous owner had a new washer motor fitted. It is since then, but the person who fitted it is no longer trading

It'll just be the washer bottle sensor in upside down as others have said. You should be able to get to it without taking anything out if you reach up underneath the front passenger wheel arch. Just rotate the sensor round 180 degrees and it should be fine. It just sits in a washer so you don't even need to take it out, you can just rotate it in situ.

Should look something like this (the sensor is the one on the right of this pic)...
