Unhappy Need help for installing aftermarket Head Unit

I have a 2003 Vectra 3.2 V6 with original headunit called Blaupunkt 2620 shown in the picture below.

This is not a common head unit for Vectra except in Australia.
I'm planning to replace this with a single din Pioneer 2200UB head unit.
This head unit is support steering wheel audio control but I need to buy stalk adaptor in order for this function to work.

They have two models of stalk adaptor for Vectra C, up to 2004 and 2004 onward. According to the year, I should purchase the one for up to 2004 because my Vectra was built in July 2003 in Germany. However, after I checked the supplier website, this adaptor does not support the existing head unit that I got. I also checked for 2004 onward adaptor and also not mentioned about my existing head unit.

I'm really do not know where to go from here.

    Does anyone has any ideas?

By the way, my steering wheel audio control is the 3 buttons style.

    Hi mate

Sounds like what you need go be looking for is a pre-canbus steering wheel adapter, as you are replacing your head unit, it doesn't matter if it is compatable.

But if you don't want to chance it go down to you local motor factor (we have a chain called Halfords in uk) and if they fit it and it won't work, they will have to replace box free

    Thanks mate.

In Australia, Vectra is not a popular cars like in UK.
Holden GM, imported the Vectra from Germany and dressed up the car like other european cars. Vectra 's parts & servicing are so expensive here.

I'm planning to install the stereo myself. That's why I need to buy all the correct parts from UK to do this job.

We have the similar chains like Halfords called Autobarn & Supercheap Auto but they don't sell parts for Vectra. I have to go to those high end audio specialist to get them installed for ridiculous price. No way.
