Default Facelift rear airvents (NEED TO KNOW)

Does anyone know if rear airvents that are based in the centre console armrest can be fitted to a Facelift and work with airflow.
As I now have a dog and a caravan I tend to go away more and the poor little dog gets a bit warm so this modd will be really handy.
If this modd can be done can anyone tell me what I will need and possible part numbers and is anyone selling the kit needed to do it.
    Thanks in advance.

I think the ducting is all different as well mate, its not just a case of fitting the vents. Take out your drinks holder/coin tray and see if you have the black ducting, chances are you don't

Can the ducting be fitted or is it all very different. Just been looking on ebay and found plenty of airvent / armrests available and one has all the casing right upto to end of the coin tray.

You can retrofit it, but to get it to work you need to remove the whole dashboard and change the air handling unit behind the dashboard. Its just not worth it imo.

I'm sure that there's no T piece/ take off from the front as well for the rear ducting. I think your going to have to either strip it right back to where it splits off or maybe speak to a Vectra Breaker like SRi-Rich I think his forum name is.

Rushy the bit at the front is there, I retrofitted mine and even took the centre console out and joined the black piping up to the front. I was able to stick my fingers inside and up as far as my hand would go, in hope that there was just some sort of blanking plate in there that I could remove or even drill some holes in, but alias to no avail.

No never worked. I read somewhere here that there are parts missing from the air handling unit, and to fit them its a dash out job. Bl**dy VX cost savings

Yea, I knew there was something missing but couldn't remember what it was. You could always take the exhaust from the vent on the left hand side of the screen and divert it to the ducting. When you pull the screen surround out its easily accessible.

Would that not effect demisting the screen though? The OP was looking for a way to help cool his dog, is there not vents under the seats that would help? Only other thing I can think of is if he fits the rear arm rest and Aux output, might as well just add a cheap 12v fan to do the job.
