Depends on mileage as to what it should have and how old the vehicle is, for example every 2 years the brake fluid should be renewed along with the anti-freeze and the remote fob batteries. I could go into a big list of what should be done but actual parts wise you should be looking at oil & filter, air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter, screen wash filled, all locks and hinges greased.

Anti-freeze is not listed in my service schedule, neither is it listed on Schedule D for any VX between 2003 and 2006

It still loses its efficiency after 2 years, it will last 5 years probably it just wont be as efficient and personally I change it every 2 to ba on the safe side, I'd rather the tenner for a gallon of anti-freeze than changing the engine if the water freezes and cracks the block. Especially the way our weather has been the last few years with hotter than average summers and colder than average winters. Its probably me being a bit cautious but from a business point of view I'd rather just change it than have a customer upset with me if anything was to happen if I didnt.

Cheers for the replies, i should have mentioned its a 2003 vectra 2.2dti with 96000 miles on it.

I eventually got around to fitting new front discs and pads today so shouldnt have any probs there (well the handbrakes rubbish but its a vectra)

I also found a bust driveshaft gaitor so now gotta fix that.

So after changing fluids and filters its mainly testing then?
