    Default squeeky brake syndrome

    hey guys just got my new vec yesterday but it has very squeeky brakes, is there any way to sort this out? maybe new brake pads etc??

    I'm no expert but....I've heard in the past it can be a case of how the pads are seated in the caliper. A quick remove, Clean and refit with Copper Slip can sort it out. New pads may not hurt!

    yep...copper grease or lack of it is usually a culprit.

    As above basically, strip them down, damn good clean up and a light smear of copper grease on all pad surfaces that touch metal (apart from the pad braking surface to disc obviously LOL). If you're putting the old pads back in, put them back in the same place they came out of.
