might have to just use 2 single din cages and butcher then together, and double up iso leads. I am sure someone somewhere has done it

Just fitted a single din unit back in after the "face off" screen on my D/Din sat nav unit fell off!!.I used the screw on plate off the DD unit to secure it in and used the "spare" space over it to ease some of the wiring loome etc.I would have easily been able to tuck it away again inside the bulkhead so I don't see you having too many problems getting another unit to fit on the top.FELIXX.

Two single dins will physically fit the hole but finding a surround to fit them will be fun, you'll probably have to make one.
