    Default Auxillary Drive Belt..DTI 2.0

    ?Has anybody changed an Auxillary Drive belt and tensioner on a 2.0 dti y20 dth engine,mine is squeeking away like a banshee,at least thats what i think it is.

    just changed the belt on my old one, it's usually them, to check, while it's running sprinkle some talcum powder on it, usually stops it.

    if it goes silent then there's your problem, not usually the tensioner.

    Done a few of them, its usually the tensioner but change the belt while you're at it.

    Assuming your not just asking Dave, it's fairly straight forward, one bolt that holds the tensioner and another one that holds the damper

    Thanks for replies..?Next question is..How much is a new tensioner gonna set me back from the stealers..Also ?? Whats the part number for the part..cheers.
