    Default rear tailgate griffin badge

Just wondering since im on a mission at the moment de-badging the vectra.

is the griffin badge on the centre of the tailgate held on with sticky double sided trim tape or is it held on with the rivets,

want to see what its like removed but frightened in case it leaves two holes in the bootlid lol

    Default

    just stuck on gordon

i removed mine by pouring boiling water over badge to loosen/melt glue, then prised it off with old necta card

alot of glue will be left on boot, but it will all pick away

you may be left with a griffin ghost, bt just a little t-cut or similar will remove this

dont forget piccys when your done!!

the best tried & tested way is: use a hair dryer to soften the glue peel the lot off & polish up

Should only be held on with glue, I used hot air gun, then cleaned residue with Autoglym Tar and Bug remover. Tail end shot of mine in "garage" on profile after debadging, if you want to look.
