Default Help please, how to adjust the headlights

As I understand it there are two allen key adjustments required. ?.
    1. which one does what.
    2. How do I set them to the correct height/angle etc?

Since I fitted my HID`s I have noticed the driver side seems to be pointing almost to the kerb! must have nudged it installing the ballasts.
The passenger side has always seemed to be almost shining on the kerb.

Seems pretty solid, no movement in bulb or unit?

Is it definitely in the holder right, not 90 or 180 degrees out?

Just been out and checked, I can move up and down, but not left or right, the bulb is in the holder ok. I may have to re-think the location of the ballast, as I think it is pushing on the end of the bar that moves the one direction axis. Will have to take the air box out again this weekend.
    thanks for the replies.

Well, as soon as I got home from work, I was back out taking the airbox out and refitting the ballast so that it now doesnt touch the headlamp or adjustors. Put it all back together , and still left to right doesnt work. I wonder if it was jammed when I turned it and maybe I have taken some thread off it?
