    Thumbs up Help for heroes.

Down town today I came across a member of help for heroes selling wristbands.Being ex army,I purchased one.On reflection,I think its the least I could have done considering that these servicemen and women put their lives and limbs on the line on a daily basis fighting for us all.For our way of life,so that we can go down to the pub or club when we feel like it,or say, within reason,(some might say unreason),what we like or think etc, etc. Now I know that the government say it helps with everything that they might ever need, but we know its all a load of crap.
I ask everyone,if you see one of these collectors, give a donation and wear your wristband with pride,I know I certainly am.You can click onto their website for up to date info,(www.helpforheroes.org.uk) : Go on,"You know it makes sense".FELIXX.

    always give to HFH

got alot of friends in forces, and beleve everyone should be supporting them, not protesting

at the end of the day, everyone one of our service men and women, risk their lives for us, to keep our freedom (well what we have left until the government take it away). Show your support

Being ex RAF I usually go for the RAF appeals, pay but not take the sticker/badge, but the Help the Heroes is a good one, if I see them I'll contribute.

They deserve all we can give for them. My wife's young brother (RN) is just back from his 3rd stint in Afghanistan. He is completely fed up with the poor way they are treated by the UK in comparison with US forces. He actually was stuck (with the rest of his team of helicopter artificers) for 3 weeks after he was due to return to the UK because the RAF could not muster a servicable aircraft to transport them out! The worst thing was that during this 3 week period, they were repeatedly told that they would be flying out later that day, only to have the plans cancelled mnutes before the supposed departure slot.
