My inlet manifold was changed a number of weeks ago as a full unit.

I don't know any part numbers (I think I remember seeing them on a thread on here somewhere) but I hear Vauxhall brought out a modified Inlet manifold.

I don't personally know the pro's / con's with the revised inlet manifold but I'm sure someone on here will and can advise you better.

I think most inlet manifolds are changed with a new valve too as main problem seems to be swirl bar becoming detached and the motor underneath it (part of the inlet manifold) wears itself out as a result of this.

Anyone change their manifold for a fell off swirl linkage and NOT changed the actuator?

funny enough i think i have to change the same and was undecided as to change only the inlet manifold or get the electric Drive module also £200 for the minifold and another £170 ish for the module
when i take the bar off number 3 swirl thats conected to the module seems to be turning fine back and forth so i might just change the minifold myself

The original idea was to change both given most people took notice of manufactures advise as above, I can confirm i have done mine with 1 new manifold & 1 new gasket only, there are more & more doing this now as some of the dealers are doing it too, i would say if the motors working fine then go with just the 2 items, mine is WELL tested 6 1/2 months on and runs Great.
