advise please

hi, i have a 2004 53reg 3.2 v6 elite with a ccr2006 head unit and was wondering if i could upgrade to the cd70 navi as i can get a head unit and display from same car so no tech 2 needed

i was just wondering what would be involved with this before i buy it and if i can upgrade without to much trouble. thanks in advance steve.

Your car is halfcanbus networked. CD70 was fitted to full canbus network cars.

Not saying it can't be done, but not without a certain amount of hard work. Some people on here have done it, and posted the way they did it. Either wait for one of those to reply or have a search round the forum.

hi big dave thanks for the reply, yea have had a quick search and it seems there is a bit of work on the loom side, so i think it will be a case of going down halfords and spending my money on a brand new tom tom and save myself a few quid. thanks again big dave for the advise much appreciate steve.
