    Default Insignia washer jets on vectra

    What is this mod people keep talkin about? What does it do/ look like etc..?

    they look identical to standard washers but they produce a wide spray/mist over a wide windscreen area rather than a jet of water.

    Instead of having 2 streams of water coming out of the washer jets it sprays it over the windscreen due the fan design.
    Not that easy to adjust though.

    Very easy and cheap mod to do. The standard washer jets are two nozzles which put two jets of water onto the windscreen. The new insigna ones spray a fan of water on the window and are much more effective.

    Mod takes about 15 mins to do. Might need to adjust them once fitted, but mine were perfect without any adjustments.

    Look in the How2 section for a complete step by step guide to fit them.

    Not summet to loose sleep over then! I never even use jets anyway so ill forget that mod! Lol

    A bit dear mind, but can buy this! Though Im sure there's an hoe 2 somewhere with a custome made pen lid to adjust it!

    got my insignia washer jets off ebay for around £5 for the pair & fitted them in a few minutes with help from a kettle full of hot water.

    mine havent needed adjusting, so no adjusting tool needed

    Neither did mine when I fitted them, but now 1 points high and one points low, ive checked they are still seated properly(and they are) so ive ordered an adjusting tool from ebay.

    Fitted my Insignia Washer Jets but Now i'm having problem adjusting it ...the Passenger side needs adjusting. I thought the design is meant to be cutting edge .
