    Default Fuel Level.

I have a 2003 Veccy, badged as a CDXI here in australia (3.2 V6). everytime i fill up from empty, it only takes 50L to fill, even though the manual clearly says its a 60L tank. i assume this is some sort of an inaccuracy in the fuel level meter? does anybody else have a similar issue?

How do you know its empty? If your going by the computer then it will normally allow a safety buffer so you don't run out.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

I've run the tank low on our facelift 55 reg Vectra C Club Z18XE (Petrol engine) until the low fuel warning light illuminated continuously then started to flash....tried it twice at different times - to satisfy my curiosity.
Each time it needed 55.5 litres to top-up the tank until the delivery pump fuel nozzle cut-off valve operated...Conclusion....about 5.5 litres of fuel still left in the tank which has a capacity of 61 litres.....
    Cheers

I can get approx another £1.50 to £2 worth of fuel in after the first cut off.
