    Default FAO Keithy! (new griffin on grille)

    pics as promised

    new style griffin on grill, wheels and steering wheel

    going to finish steering wheel off with some chrome beading for edges when i can

    comments welcome

    spot on mate. mine arrived on sat. can't wait to fit it.

    Lovin the one on the steering wheel. Where did you get that one?

    looks good, bet it wasn't easy to replace steering wheel badge.

    ebay, managed to get a 46mm one from ebay, i made a few marks getting it off, so want to tidy it up with some chrome beading

    2 hours! 3 finger nails and about 100 times the horn went off, so not really haha

    So did you just cut a dvd box shape it then glue it?

    yeah, well traced outline, cut out and made sure it matched up, then sprayed black, then glued badge to backing, then once that was set hard, i used some tiger seal to put whole thing on grille.

    just taped it up then as if there was no pressure on it, it wouldnt have set in right position

    So the backing is actually fitted to the front of the V?

    when i done my steering wheel irmscher badge, i unplugged battery so horn didnt go off.. and used a fine blade screwdriver only took a couple of mins. the irmscher one didnt fit properly either so i milled out the middle of the old badge and mounted the irmscher on inthe middle so the chrome ring was around the outside and hey presto...
