    Default Aftermarket headunit wired to battery

    Is it easy to directly wire an aftermarket headunit to the battery? as i have an alpine hu which has to wired directly

    why does it have to wired directly mate?

    Because of the power output,I had it wired to the battery on my old car, it's a alpine cdr 9812rb see what u think mate

    Take to constant feed from the stock HU loom and the ignition power from the cigi lighter and bobs your uncle.

    Tbh i don't think you would need to wire direct to the battery but, you can route the cable around the back of the glovebox and through the bulkhead.

    If you open the bonnet and remove the plastics where the pollen filter is, you'll soon see.

    Also remove the glove box.

    This is how i got a feed to my amp

    Thanks guys i cant do it aint the mo as ive badly cut my finger at work on circular saw! Nearly lost my finger
