Default Oil on throttle body pcb

After suffering the hesitation fault I removed and cleaned the throttle body and found oil on the pcb.

I wiped it off the pcb and put it back together, the car was like a different car, picks up better at lower revs and no juddering, however it'd come back but no eml

So my question is once oil has got onto the pcb should it be replaced and if oil has got there once will it build up there again meaning a new throttle body is required?

Can you just buy the pcb or is it one unit ?

The PCB is the part of the throttle body so new PCB = New throttle body.

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong - just check the solder joints .

Ive just took mine off & checked it just for the hell of it!, i was supprised to find it like new! considering that ive had to replace the manifold six months ago, it & the inlet system were very messy so i was expecting the same oily pcb thingy.

I'll have another look at the pcb next weekend and maybe tin some of the solder joints if they look bad

It's no where near as bad as it was eml hasn't come on and before it was common for it to be on during a medium length drive
