    Default Top strut bearing help/advice

Every now and then I get a knocking/creaking/squeaking noise from the front of my car on long journeys with a full load. It makes a noises while stationary or moving when the steering wheel moves. I stuck my ear on the top mount and 95% sure it's that. Now question is, is it likely the bearing or housing? Think I've read somewhere that there's a rubber bush there also?
Also are these main dealer parts only?

they're a closed unit roller bearing in a plastic housing, they do come apart & can be greased up if you're careful

Bearings from Vauxhall are i think between £15-£20 + vat each, unless your down as a Vauxhall employee and then they drop to a tenner each as i got quoted on them yesterday.

That is a different link than when Ive looked before, they were defiantly £40 a pair. Did you try your own reg number on the ECP site?
