    Default Knocking noise from rear

I have checked brake pads, springs, joints, heat plates, exhaust, weels arches, tightened up the spare wheel clamp, fixed the first aid kit, and still cant identify where this is coming from! its driving me nuts! seemes to happen when the car shakes from side to side rather than up and down. Any deas?

Anti roll bar bushes or wish bone buses. Replaced both on mine and the rattle has gone

arbs only cost a couple quid if you decide to do them your self, which i did.

My wish bones were done under warranty. But you can pick them up for 30 quid off ebay

    Vehicle : vectra-c

    Trim : sri

    Engine : cdti

    Year : 2004

    Mileage : 98,000

    Default

Get someone to drive the car and with you in the boot listen to see if the boot/hatchback is rattling, you can slip your fingers around the edge & you will feel it moving, if you push hard enough it will stop if it needs adjusting, this is very common & it just may need the catch dropping 1-2mm.
