    Default Hi Everyone

    Hi,
I'm a 25yo male & live in Kent, I have always loved the vauxhall range from my Corsa - Tigra - Astra coupe turbo & am now picking up my Vectra VXR on Tuesday.

Hope to post up some pics & specs when i receive it.

Just two questions - probably the wrong place to ask...
    1. Is the built in sat nav arrows or maps?
    2. What re-map is best? Courtney, Thorney, Regal? (255bhp)
Thanks, Speak to you all soon

Thanks for the reply, do you know if there are two versions of sat nav?

only because where I'm buying it from say it is just arrows???

Sorry not heard of maptune, i was looking for a reasonable priced map to take it to around 300bhp.

I have been told there are maps to take both 255 & 280 versions to 300bhp & 400ibs, not sure what company or price though.

Do you have any details on the maptune map?

The standard nav has a full graphics screen between the vents the options on the set up I believe can be selected to arrow or graphic options (I don't have nav on the car but have used it in the hundreds of rentals I have driven TBH a while ago now!)

As for Maptun and looking at your location

check the guys at Neo Brothers www.neobrothers.co.uk it is the same map for the Saab and is as you say about 300HP

Welcolme to the club mate. Another option is a superchips bluefin. Just plug and play and unit can also be sold on at a later date also has code reader built in too. Not sure what the figuers are for the vxr but for my 2.8 Siggy they reckon +59bhp not sure how true that is but its a flying machine since mapped.

Welcome, but 25 with a remapped VXR? Insurance will be interesting! Mate has the fatboy Golf GTi, his renewal quote just went up to £900, and he's 28.
