    Default intercooler pipe

hi all ive fitted my fmic yesterday and it was a universal with ally pipes and on one of the pipes i needed to fit it has a branch little tube branching out of its and open so boost escapes from it. ive fitted that tube between the turbo and intercooler,so in theory cud i fit a boost gauge there or is it just best to change the pipe otherwise ill have to cap it off today.

    cheers

If this is on the pressurised side then yes you could get an adapter I suppose typically though the boost reading comes right up at the manifold IIRC

My boost gauge is tapped off on my intercooler to manifold pipe so yes you can

You won't get a 100% accurate reading unless from the inlet manifol as del says but it's not far off
