this week's been the first time since about March that I've used the air con to help to clear the windows in the morning. Thats from a cold start with 4 of us in the car and the rain lashing down so not worried as such. Change in weather related?
I get misty windows,i found the drivers side rear boot cubby hole was wet the other day,it could be related.
i checked boot but not the cubby holes, ill do it tomo as its chucking it down here at mo?
i had the air con recharged at vauxhall week ago and seems strange this is happening now
mine too this morning , havnt had it before today ,,strange ?
we've had bg temp variations recently day to night and humidity being high too
this might explain....
by the way have you cleaned the drains under the scuttle plate ........???? ones below the pollen filter . other on other side ........obviously
this might be a source of retained water
I run my car with the air con on at all times
However, it is normal to get some condensation on the inside of the windows where it has been left overnight uncovered
Equally, it will be worst where there have been variations in temperature, such as parking when warm, cold overnight, then sunlight in the morning
Or when it's damp outside and not cold....that's when it's worst IMO. Aircon sorts it out no bother.
if you have RUBBER MATS chuck them out, and get some carpet mats it does help, also dont use glass cleaner on the inside use a good wash leather, again this is a help not a fix, I bought some ANTI MIST glass cleaner,,,, its crap.
Change the pollen filter and it will probably sort it out.
