Deep/quiet knock on low speed acceleration

I'm getting a deep but quietish knock from NSF when I pull away slowly and decelerate.( like a rubber hammer hitting under engine bay) Doesn't sound nothing like the clicking a cv joint makes. Also sure it's not engine mounts. Spoke to vx tech I see in town ( poor guy cant hide from me) and says drive shaft nuts can work loose and cause a knock. Any other ideas? Having a mate change top mount bearings sunday. As they make a noise once on a long drive.

try the radiator mounts - spray them with grease/ oil and see if it improves.

99% sure it's not them, def off NSF suspension some where?

Well after a couple of hours Sunday I think I have found the problem. When I went to undo the NSF suspension bolt il(in top mount) I found it was so loose I could have undone it with my fingers ! Been wondering if they accidentally left it loose when I got my 4wheel alignment done last year. ( also same sort of time I got tha knocking
