    Default Buying info

    Hi

Looking for some info regarding buying a cdti. Considering a 1.9 150 cdti sri for sale on here and also seen a 3.0 v6 cdti sri in a garage not too far from me. The garage one is 2004 54 Reg VAUXHALL Vectra 3.0 V6 CDTi SRi looks lightning silver and covered 22,000 miles, its being offered at £10,995. Good deal?

I have never bought from a garage before but im considering going to look at this. What sort of money off the window price should i be looking at from a dealer when im going in with cash for cars at that sort of price. Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Very good price for the 3.0. Amazing engine and also sounds nice. The 1.9 (150) is another great engine and mega tunable.

sounds like a cracking motor with price to match

All depends what the garage is mate, if its a supermaket then their wont be any movement on price, if its a network q garage then you will have a little movement in price...

August is usually a slow month for garages due to holiday time so try your hardest for a discount as they will want your cash pretty bad

Thanks for the replies. The garage is an independent dealer not a supermarket or vauxhall dealer. I may give them a call tomorrow to see if its still there.

    Thanks

garages normally have a mark up value on the car of around £1000
so if they have had it short while then they should take less for it
but at that price it seems a bargain.

The V6 certainly does seem a bargain, it should have just over a year or 38,000 miles (which ever comes first) of Vxl warranty left on the car on a 54 plate but would still be worth giving the car a good look around, maybe it's just me being suspicious but does seem v cheap.

seems a good deal, although as suggested there should be a bit of movement on price, £10,500 could clinch it

Last 3.0 CDTi SRi I went to look at I missed out on after returning the following week. It was sold.

It was sat in Reg Vardy Vauxhall in Falkirk. 2004 31,000 on the clock, 1 previous company owner. Star silver with all the toys inc sat nav.

    Price was £10,995.

Thats about what I'm looking to pay once the next one pops up for sale near me.

I'm not ready to buy until next month but just out of interest, where is the one you are looking at, RRB?.

Dont worry, I'm not gonna try and jump in and grab it before you mate, not buying till the end of September!!!.
