Default F showing on cd70 where temp should be.

Just replaced the vec with another. Got it home and realised the radio cd70 is displaying an 'F' where the outside temp reading should be.

Any ideas where i should be looking? ie location of temp sensor.

    Easy/cheap fix?

    Hope someone can help....

cheers, is this easy to get too, ie don't want to be removing the bumper etc.
Also is it a general part covering all models from diesel to vxr?

    Vehicle : Jaguar XF 3.0D V6

    Trim : Black

    Engine : 3.0D V6

    Year : 0000

    Default

Open bonnet and look infront of cooling pack in the area behind the front bumper, approx in the middle of the cross member.

Same part for all Vecs and you don't have to remove a thing to get to it.

Brilliant, thanks lads, as ever top forum and blazingly quick replies,
anyway this gets better, I've just looked down and it's not that its faulty, it's not connected to anything!!!! Blimey how do i go about sorting that out?
There doesn't even seem to be any cable hanging down there!
    any ideas appreciated.....
