    Default offer

had a firm offer on the car.. however its not quite what I want..
would you take £500 less than the price you wanted??..or would you wait out and wait for a better offer to come along.. car been up for sale at 4k for a week now..
thing is I am uber keen on getting a replacement asap as i got my eye on a nice little motor too..

Used car values are in the toilet now more than ever, If only my wife would accept a Vectra to replace the Golf I could get her such a decent car for no money!

not sure what to do as I have had quite a bit of interest.. just worried that if it doesnt go now, the car I got my eye on will also be sold and I am left without a car, unable to get to work etc etc!

In a way your right but small cars seem to be fetching good money just now. I'm searching for a small car for around 1500 quid just now and they are all about 9 or 10 years old.

Can't believe this Vec hasn't sold yet, if I had a way of getting rid of mine quickly i'd love it (especially as the paintwork won't turn pink )

If you were offered £3500 cash then I'd take it. You just don't know when the next offer will arrive. There is a big difference between interest and an offer.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
